I am currently using a RM16 AI mixer. I had a band come in that was using Ableton software on a mac laptop connected to an interface by firewire and they wanted me to send a click track to the drummers in-ear monitor which only had a 3.5 mm male jack which I used a adapter to fit the 1/4 inch input. I could only think to use the phone out on the stage box but I couldn't figure out how to stop the click track from coming through FOH speakers. I used a 6 Ch drop stage only needing 5 Ch which he needed for all the recorded tracks that would play through FOH and stage monitors. I used a XLR to 1/4 balanced patch cables to the stage box input. Could there been a way to do this?

If I understand it right you had the click signal on an input channel of your RM. On any input channel you have a routing selection (groups, mains), Simply deactivate the routing. Then the signal only goes to the auxes.
