The way it is now, for my MIDI keyboard, the Impulse 49, to sync the tempo of the keyboard's onboard arpeggiator, i have to add the keyboard as a keyboard controller, AND i have to add a new instrument via the external devices dialog, to be able to send and receive MIDI clock to sync the arpeggiators tempo with Studio One. With an option to send/receive MIDI clock for a keyboard controller, there would be no need to add 2 devices for the same device. Please consider. I actually wonder anyway, why keyboard controllers, instruments, and control surfaces all need to be separate controllers, instead of just having one type of external device, which could be anything. Please also consider that. Thanks.
