The Faderport 8 edit plugins feature (in Pro Tools) is great, but seems severely limited. Is there a way that I'm missing to assign a plugin function that doesn't seem to be available to a fader or button? For instance, Izotope RX De-Reverb. The main reduction fader is not assigned to a fader on the Faderport 8. Strangely the Low-mid, High-mid and High faders on the plugin are assigned to the first three faders on the FP8.

I have found that using Alt M (the keyboard shortcut for midi assign) works, even if you can't hover and click on the parameter you'd like to control!

Presonus does need to deal with this issue (Sorry guys and gals but you should be able to mouse-over and right click over any parameter in any plugin regardless of brand in Studio One.)

The ********* BCR2000 and Softtube Console 1 might be the template for in-the-box plugin hardware.  I hope there is some kind of perfect hardware solution in the future for plugin controllers.
