I recently updated Universal Control to firmware version 1.10 and ever since my FaderPort 8 doesn't work in Studio One Professional and I continuously get an error message on startup "MIDI Port not found for Device FaderPort 8!" I have tried re-installing the software and have cycled both the FaderPort 8 and my iMac several times, but no luck. How do I get my FaderPort to start working again?

iMac, late 2015.
4 GHz i7
32 GB RAM
macOS High Sierra 10.13.2
Studio One Professional 3.5.4

I'm on PC so this might not help at all but to get my FP8 to work properly I had to connect it to an external powered USB hub. It would not connect properly to ANY USB port on my PC. Its been rock solid connected to the hub, no idea why, but it works! good luck!

Thanks For the info Gary, but my Faderport 8 was already plugged into a USB hub, so that must not work on a Mac. Anyone else having this problem? I’m going on 2 weeks that I haven been able to use my Faderport.

I have had same problem, Mac operating latest version of high sierra, control interface says faderport is connected but Studio One is not finding it. Waiting for a response from Persons but its very annoying when it was working perfectly until that moment.
