A vocoder for affecting vocals, preferably one that can use another sound source as the carrier.

A frequency modulation synthesizer with three or four operators in which you can decide how much frequency modulation each operator is applying to the others and/or themselves. Each one can have their own envelope with the ability to sync them.

WOW there are so many excellent FM synths and vocoders available, many for free. Check kvr. I would much prefer Presonus focus their development effort on adding the many missing features found in competitive DAW's.

Agree, that's the only thing that keeps me using Ableton instead of Studio One. I know there's some great FM synth plugins, some are free but I haven't found any decent plugin for 64bit architectures.
Also the FM feature in the sampler would be awesome, like in Ableton's sampler.

I was about to request it, but thankfully found this. I'd say something like Live's Operator would be very useful, or something more towards DX7. It wouldn't be that out of place next to Mai Tai and the 80s vibe it's capable of. I'm also pretty sure it can be done in a lightweight manner.

A vocoder with smooth integration in Studio One would be awesome!! I could take or leave an FM synth though, unless it had some interesting new features vs. FM8 or Dexed.

I do understand the point chancekaye made regarding priorities but having an easy-to-use, flexbile, and built-in vocoder could save a lot of time and it really helps the flexbility for vocoders to have good integration with the host DAW.
