Resize handles for objects running beyond window borders

I would like to suggest a feature that is hard to explain, but very convenient when it's there.

A real world example.

Let's say I have a note with the length of 1 bar. Due to the zoom state the note's length is not entirely shown (it runs out of the editor).
I would like to suggest a feature where elements that run out of the editor/arranger still can be resized with the mouse, when the mouse is held at the border of the editor/arranger. So it's not necessary to zoom or scroll to reach the borders of the element you want to resize. Like this:
