Suddenly can't move or drag any audio files in any session. I was working on editing some vocal files, and literally suddenly wasn't allowed to drag or move any file. It allows me to click on a section of audio, but not move it anywhere. Help!!!!!! Did I accidentally lock something or select some feature I'm unaware of??

There are no "lock" functions in Studio One. I  suggest entering a support ticket for a thorough look into your issue.

SAME PROBLEM AGAIN. I filed a support ticket but they didn't have any answers. I had to restart my computer to fix the problem, which takes forever because for some reason Studio One literally takes over 5 minutes sometimes just to open. I'm not exaggerating either, you click on the icon, and nothing happens for several minutes.

Now the same problem just happened again!! Just randomly freezes so I can't move any sections of audio around in the session, and totally inhibits my ability to work. Seems like everyday there is some random error that happens with this program that no one can seem to fix, offer an explanation for, or even heard of sometimes!! Often their only answer is to upgrade to the next version, which is a lame answer. I really hate studio one at least once a week.

If you're having regular issues with S1, it could be your configuration or machine.

If it takes 5 minutes to start S1, there is something else wrong. One of your plug-ins, an external drive, or something else that is outside of S1 directly.

Usually if something is an S1 issue, we will see a wide set of people able to duplicate a problem. (Like all software, S1 has its bugs too.)

That said, your symptoms are not something anybody else is reporting from what I can tell.

You didn't state which version of S1 you are on, which OS/version you are running, how much memory, if you have anti-virus running, etc. Could be related to USB ports, hardware config, etc.

There are tons of moving parts and most of us run S1 for hours a day without those types of issues. You might be special and have found a bug, or there is something else going on with your machine.

I'm having the same issue too, I sent in a ticket but were you ever able to figure out the problem? If there is a solution maybe it'll work for newer versions of Studio One as well.
