I run a i5 PC with windows 7 professional 64 bit. Have studio one producer loaded with superior drummer add on. running a audiobox 22vsl.

My program has worked fine except when computer goes into sleep mode. when i awake the computer, says there was an issue with the audiobox. I typically shut it down and restart. use to work until now.

restarted computer and no audio out of the audiobox to my monitors. Again used to work fine until now. checked all the settings and the audiobox is the default sound-card. Tried youtube and clicking on video and no sound.

plugged guitar into the interface and can hear fine. Signal shows up in the audiobox program. I click on the youtube video and I can see signal is going into the interface but no sound. So guitar is heard, anything else like studio one, a video or itunes does not.

unistalled the driver, reinstalled latest off presonus website. launched studio one and get the following message:

the audio device audiobox has failed to start correctly before. do you want to try again? I click yes and I get the following:

the audio device audiobox could not be initialized, please check your hardware configuration and try again.

How do you do that? searched and no answers on doing that other than rechecking all the default sound-card things that are already set the way they recommend.

Really frustrating. I had a earlier audiobox and worked fine till one of the channels fried. Replaced with a focusrite and that worked for a while till I started getting weird distortion during playback. purchased this audiobox 22vsl and worked fine up till today.

Help!!! losing faith in the DAW and the interfaces by the minute.

I am having a similiar issue with the same unit on my new gaming pc. Top of the line hardware. I currently have a service request in with presonus for noise issues when using multiple midi notes. For your problem i have determined it is not the PC. When i had that issue i toggled the buffer size back and forth then the audio started working again. If i use windows audio i have no issues... But then u have no good way to interface with the daw. The audiobox usb is more noisey. I am 99.9% sure the problem is in the driver. For both of these problems i believe. Lets see what Presonus comes up with. I am looking for a new interface to work with presonus studio one pro.
