Why does my Ceres C3.5BT speaker enter standby even though my music is still playing - using 1/8" Aux Input or BT?

I am using a Ceres C3.5BT connected to an Android smart phone via the 1/8" Aux input port to listen to streaming music.  This has worked great for about 9 months, but recently the Ceres seem to go into the "power saving mode" (sound shuts off and the LED turns red).  It seems like the Ceres is not properly detecting that audio is still coming in via the Aux input cable.  I have tried with a Bluetooth connection and have similar symptoms.  This is a very inconsistent symptom - sometime it works great for an hour or two, sometimes it shut off in 15-20 min.  If I turn the power switch off and leave it for several hours, it seems to be fine for awhile when I turn it on again.

The speakers don't enter power saving mode when there's no audio passing through them, they enter power saving mode when there's not a certain volume of audio passing through them. Simply put: If you're listening to music very quietly, they'll still shut off. In your experience, are they suddenly dropping out in the middle of a song that you've got playing at a comfortable listening level? If so, you may want to contact Tech Support.
