Hi,

I'm just wondering if there's a way to send every channel from one AI mixer to another.  Can I use the Ethernet for this, or the FireWire?

We are actually cascading two 24AI mixers, but I would love to send all, or at least 32 of those channels to a 32AI mixer for broadcasting.  The goal is to have my FOH mixers mix for live, while the 32 AI mixes for broadcasting (Internet streaming).  I want the broadcast to be able to do their own mix for each individual channels.

How can I achieve this?  Would I really need to buy a splitter snake? Or can this be done with the RML? What is your suggestion to achieve this.

Thank you,

Kenneth Carlo

You can either use the DB25 outputs on your first console to feed the inputs into your second console or you could get Dante option cards for each of your mixers. The only catch with Dante is that the streams won't display as "1-48", you'll get "1-24" and "1-24" because the cascaded 24AIs won't show up as a 48AI on the nextwork. But as long as you know how to route the audio, you can send those streams to a 32.4.2AI for a separate, broadcast mix.
