After updating Studio One to ver. 3.3.2, bx_Console will no longer instantiate. It is available in the plugin menu but doesn't instantiate. Same with Boom and Elysia Niveau. Other BX plugs working properly. Anyone else experiencing this?

After an update like this if you experience issues like described above with plugins, perform a settings refresh of Studio One as described below to see if it clears up the issue.   If the issue persists after restarting Studio One and you can't find a suitable resolution, make sure that the plugins in question are fully up to date and create a support ticket.

How to perform a settings refresh if the Studio One application can launch:

  • 1.  Go to Help>Open Settings folder.
  • 2.  Copy the contents of the folder over to a folder on your desktop.
  • 3.  Close S1 and delete the contents of the settings folder with the exception of the user.license file as well as the "Extensions" folder.
  • 4.  Open S1 and go to Studio One>Options (Preferences on a Mac) to reconfigure your settings.
  • 5.  Test to see if the problem is resolved.  If it is not, please feel free to copy your settings files back over from the backup that you created in step 2.
  • *If you are missing presets or Sound Sets after doing this, simply double-click one of your Sound Sets under Documents>Studio One>Sound Sets.

How to perform a settings refresh if Studio One cannot launch:

OSX:

  • 1.  Quit Studio One  (kill the process if hung up)
  • 2.  From the Finder toolbar, click Go, hold Option, and click Library
  • 3.  Open Application Support/PreSonus Software/Studio One 3
  • 4.  Copy the contents of the folder to a folder on your desktop for use as a backup.
  • 5.  Delete all files and folders except for the user.license file
  • 6.  Launch Studio One 3 and test for this issue again.  If the problem still exists, please feel free to copy your settings files back over from the backup you created in step 4.

Windows:

  • 1.  Quit Studio One  (kill the process if hung up)
  • 2.  Click Start and type %appdata% [Enter] to open the Roaming folder.
  • 3.  Open PreSonus/Studio One 3

*If you are missing any Sound Sets after doing the above go to Documents>Studio One>Sound Sets and double-click one of the files.
