Question

I'm trying to record live performances with a studiolive 24.4.2, which I'm controlling with SL Remote. When I try to open both universal control and a daw (I've tried with protools, logic, and reason), it seems only one will talk to the console. I'm not even sure this is possible, but there doesn't seem to be much information out there on this.

SL Remote is just a remote control extension app for UC, which is all just controlling the mixer. SL Remote does not control DAW software.

Logic is only connecting to the mixer via the FireWire driver for audio.

SL Remote will run as long as UC is running on the computer.
