I'm struggling with the piano roll view (PRV). How can I audition several notes at the same time? For example, can I select all notes in a chord and hear the chord play?

In addition, if I click on a note in the PRV, all I hear is a short burst of the note but I can't sustain it. I tried right clicking, left clicking, Ctrl + clicking, Shift + clicking, etc.

I spend a lot of time in the PRV. Hopefully there's a way to do these things.

Same here !

At least, I need to be able to hear more than a short note note when I click. Especially when working with slow attack sound.

amen bro!

ABLETON has had this for ages - simply drag a selection rectangle over the notes of interest and any notes that are enclosed by the selection rectangle get played. This is SO SO obviously simple and obvious I'm amazed DAWs like Cubase or S1 still don't have this,

Its a huge time saver and workflow enhancer in Ableton.

Much needed. Currently only single notes can be auditioned. This is one area where FL studio is ahead of the pack. Ableton Live previews selected notes but the preview lasts a fixed (and very short) amount of time, approximately 360 ms, which is inadequate for previewing pads and strings that have a slow attack. Hopefully the Presonus wizards look into this.
