My church is trying to record the services onto a SD card using our SL 24 Series III. I am up front playing guitar so I cannot see what is being done in the booth, but when I get the SD card so that I can edit and upload the teachings in the form of a podcast, I get almost no volume on the track. I've tried everything and the whole recording is near silent. What can I adjust on the SL 24 BEFORE they record everything? Thanks!

It might be that there is simply not enough level signal coming to the SD card, which means that the input gain of all channels should be set higher. The "Level" meter on the left side of the Fat Channel gives you a visual indication of input level for the selected channel. The level can move in the yellow range, it must not stay in the green range. This should provide enough level for the recordings. Watch out if there is any "heavy" level reduction (compression). The two red meters on the right side indicate level reductions.
