Question

When recording midi with an electronic drum kit, a couple of times random sections suddenly show as white blocks with only the foot control information (can no longer see the midi notes). This seem to mostly happen with copied sections, but it's not exclusive. The midi shows up in the midi editor just fine.

Now when I try to record in another place in the song, the white sections get deleted. There doesn't seem to be a workaround either. Are these sections marked in some way which I can't seem to find, or is this a bug?

This is extremely frustrating, and I'm on a deadline with this project.

Please help, anyone.

As far as I know, recording behavior is set globally, not for just for a section within your timeline.

Could you provide a screen shot (if on Windows: Start Shift S, then drag rectangle around the area to share)

The only time I've had issues with MIDI have been when my recording settings where other than what I intended.

Tale a look at the Record Panel (Ctrl Shift R) to verify the behavior you intend.
