If I need to make some cool percussive loops quickly or some funky sounds, randomization of notes triggered by a single note press and optional factors like Quantization, velocity or modulation of frequency bands or other automatable parameters etc. would make the process much faster. Basically an extension of Note FX and also extension of randomization to note triggers and automatable parameters. This is already a part of Ableton Live.
To start off with Presonus, you can model the randomizer that I mentioned above like the randomizer already in the midi editor which gives flexible options like strength, position and offset of notes like humanize.
