This is my scenario.
I use a StudioLive Series III mixer in my studio. The studio is wired with CAT5 for networking of the StudioLive, Mac with Studio One, MIDI over Ethernet devices, Media centre/backup storage, TV set top boxes and PVR, smart switches and HVAC Control.
The studio also has both private and public wifi.
Clients use the public wifi, but there is currently no way to provide them access to the StudioLive Q-Mix if they are on the public wifi. They end up having to be given access to the private network, which is a security risk.
Please implement the ability for QMix to connect with StudioLive series III from another network segment with simple firewall rules and port forwarding. It shouldn't be hard to implement.
