Audiobox USB headphone issue

My 1/4" headphones are only receiving audio to my left ear. The headphones work fine in my amps/synth etc. This is true for all PC audio, just in the headphone jack in the rear of the unit. Speakers transmit to stereo just fine. This didn't used to be a problem.

Universal Control mixer does not react to audio from io44.

I installed Universal Control (Win 11 PC desktop with Cakewalk and Studio One installed together with MIDI keyboard). I then opened UC and connected io44 (headset with mic). UC recognizes io44. I then opened mixer or meter page, mixer does not register audio from io44. The LED screen on the hardware indicates the io44 is working. However, nothing registers on the meter or mixer page. I then installed UC on MacBook Pro (MacOS Catalina) and everything appears to work as it is supposed to (same io44 with headset/miic). I next installed on a Window 11 Home desktop and everything appears to work as it is supposed to. So the problem seems to reside on my first Windows 11 desktop. I supposed there could be a registry problem, but alas I am uncertain. Any ideas on how to fix my problem? Thank you.

I've just bought used an old AudioBox USB interface, it's probably the oldest version made. I'm getting crackling noises with just the USB cable and headphones attached. I'm thinking maybe a firmware update could fix or reduce the problem. I saw a few posts here with screenshots of firmware in the 2.xx range with most likely the same device. Mine is on v1.10 as per UC and says it's up to date. I've tried updating on MacOS, Windows 10 and 11 but all turn out the same. Can anyone confirm that 1.10 is the latest version for this unit? If not, is it possible that since it's such a legacy unit, Presonus has completely removed the firmware from downloads and is it possible to install the update without using UC? My Mac and Universal Control suddenly stopped recognizing my ioStation 24c

Hello everyone, I was using my ioStation 24c for mixing in Logic Pro X and it suddenly stopped working and started cracking. From there I entered Universal Control and my interface, my Mac OS Will we have to go back to USB 3.0?

The steps I have already followed are the following:
1. Reinstall Universal Control on Mac OS X Ventura.
2. I connected my ioStation 24c to an old Windows computer to update the firmware and the cable works. I was able to update but my Macbook Pro still does not recognize it.
2. Change the USB-C cable to another one and it didn't work on Mac.
3. I upgraded to Mac OS X Sonoma 14.6 but still nothing. Sometimes TIDAL also does not recognize the interface and I cannot listen to music from the interface.

Neither option has worked. Any solution? It is not firmware and it is not cable. It doesn't seem like Universal Control is outdated either.

Hi! I just tried using my Studio 24c standalone (using a regular USB power supply rather than a PC). The light stayed solid red, not blinking, not blue.

It worked!

That's great, but can I rely on that always working? I have a mixer with four XLR inputs, but I occasionally need 5 or 6. I recently had a gig and borrowed a friend's mixer (of course, one of his inputs was wonky, etc.), but I'd rather use my own equipment.

So, my question is, is the 24c designed to work stand-alone? Will it work safely and reliably for hours? Can I trust it to work that way for a whole gig?

Another workaround would be to just bring along a laptop and plug it into there I suppose, but I'd rather travel lighter if possible. Thanks in advance.

I just received this and it tells me that the serial number is invalid. I cant contact the freefone number as I am in Ireland and it wont work for me. There doesnt seem to be any answers that work when I searched in the knowledge hub and I have no response from customer support. I am so disappointed and am very worried as nobody seems to have resolved this and I dont know if I can return it as there doesnt appear to be details for return/

Although Universal Control software does work on the new Microsoft ARM laptops through emulation, due to a lack of an ARM Driver, the UC software will not recognize USB devices such as the Reverlator USB series microphones etc...

UC was working fine then one day it wasn't noticing my interface, I unistalled, rebooted, reinstalled and nothing. I downloaded and installed the newest UC version, nothing. The driver's are working fine, but UC tells me there are "no devices available." I'm running Windows 11.

I upgraded to a newer Mac. Downloaded newest version of Universal controller but it doesn't see my Person's Studio 24c. Same set up on the Older computer and the interface shows up fine and records well in GarageBand. Some seem to have resolved the problem by changing USB cables or switching to USB A with adaptor but still nothing here. Help.

It states "C012136"

How does that number correspond to date? I thought that first two numbers are month, and second are the year, but my friend also has Revelator io24, with Manufacturing date 182101.

Windows on ARM driver support for Universal Control

Currently, I am unable to manage my device (Revelator IO 24) using Universal Control due to a lack of ARM64 drivers. While the software can install and run emulated, x64 drivers cannot be, causing the application to show "no devices available". I can see the hardware in Device Manager, with generic Microsoft drivers.

Studio one will not see USB 26C after I login from sleep on my laptop .If I restart my laptop, then Universal control will initiate the driver for the studio box 26C and Studio one daw will recognize it automatically but only if I do a hard restart of the laptop. If I wake up the PC sleep, it does not recognize or see the USB device in studio one.

After setting up multiple Adat Output streams in Studio One, I connected my other devices to my ********* ADA8200, but there was no signal output. However, it started working again after I enabled the interface’s ByPass Mixer. But I need to use some of the features of the Mixer.

By the way, my system is Windows 11.

Cannot update firmware on Revelator mic

I'm on an M1 Pro MacBook Pro and recently got my Revelator mic. When I downloaded Universal Control, there's a bit yellow notice under Revelator that says: "PLEASE UPDATE DEVICE FIRMWARE!" but clicking this doesn't do anything and when I navigate to Settings, the 'Update Firmware..." is grayed out and I can't click it.

Any direction here would be helpful.

Hi. I use my io24 in standalone mode. Everything seems to work well except the pan settings are lost in standalone mode. If I plug back into a computer with UC, it is corrected.

Is a firmware upgrade available to fix this issue?

I currently have a studio 68 which is 24 bit. The new quantum es2 and es4 are both 24bit however the hd2 is 32bit. What does that mean in general, and more specifically, does it have any impact on speeding up the "export mixdown" process? (please note: I'm not after strategies/tricks for speeding up like transforming tracks to audio, just trying to understand if the hardware will make any difference). Thanks, Tony.

Mac Studio audio is glitching on persons 1824c

I just got an upgrade as a studio computer. I upgraded from a windows to a Mac Studio (M2 Max 64 ram). When I connect the studio 1824c to the Mac Studio it recognizes the interface. But the audio is not coming out properly. It's glitching and stuttering and most of the time not playing any audio. I never had any issues on my windows computer. I'm currently on MacOS 14.4.1.

Why does revelator have a better DSP than 1824c. It’s annoying that a $500 interface has less than a $100 interface.

The physical main knob (Master volume) of my Presonus 1818 VSL doesn't work or respond in any way. I can only control my main volume output with the keys + - of the keyboard of the Mac. I don't know why. It's a big problem. Anyone with this same problem?

I want to use 3.5mm mics (headset or lavalier) using TRS (6.3mm) adapters, but AudioBox don't send/receive any signal, no matter how hard I scream t the mics.

I have increased the gain knobs of both inputs, I have move the Mix knob, and I have activated/deactivated the blue-led buttons (except for the 48V phantom button of course) but none of that make it work. I have tested if my interface is working connecting a electric piano I have and it does work with that so the interface is working fine on both inputs, but when it comes ti these 3.5mm mics it just doesn't work. I have checked the use manual but it doesn't say anything about these, from what I understood is that it should work since the AudioBox has its own amplifiers for both input channels.

I would love any help, thanks in advance!

Relevator io24 - EQ output adjust

If I uninstall Control Center and reboot, the generic 2013 drivers that Windows installs playback sound flawlessly through my Audiobox USB 2.0 (but these drivers obviously won't be enabling the recording features). Then as soon as I download the latest PreSonus drivers (v2.8.40), all manner of snaps, crackles, pops appear. This would seem to indicate some kind of software problem, as opposed to hardware.

Is there another driver or some other fix I can employ to solve this problem? It's wild to me that generic 2013 Windows drivers seem to be superior to PreSonus' own 2020 drivers at utilizing its hardware to playback sound.

Presonus Studio26c - win 10 - Cubase

Hi I'm going to be recording a guitar/vocalist and wanted to set aup a second pair of headphones up when tracking.
So I'm aware I can use headphone splitters/amp/mixers and just split the 'headphone out' from the 26c into however many signals/headphones needed, but I'm thinking I can use the '3 & 4' outputs on the 26c.
So tried setting this up, configuring a cue mix in DAW and sending this to 'output 3' on the '26c' and all worked well. I've got separate volume control for my headphone output on the '26c' front panel and control the output sent to output 3(headphones) within the DAW.
BUT.. I only get signal to one side of the phones connected to output 3 ?
I presume outputs 3 & 4 are mono ouputs ? So I'm kinda thinking is there a jack connector/lead that could split that mono 3 output into both sides of the headphones(doesn't matter about stereo image) or a lead that I could plug into output 3&4 on the 26c and sum into a stereo female connector for the headphones? I kinda like the thought of using just output 3 and getting that to play in hphones, then I could do the same with output 4...in case I needed a third set of phones? Thx in advance for any help.

Bom dia, me chamo Aelson e acabei de adquirir a interface Presonus 26C e estou com alguns problemas. Fiz o registro e o download do universal Control, porém após a instalação dos drives conforme foto abaixo, minha máquina passou a travar e só voltava ao normal quando eu a desligava, mas logo em seguida travava novamente. Daí conseguir restaurar meu sistema para uma data antes da instalação dos drives. A máquina voltou ao normal. Ontem fiz uma nova instalação do universal Control e minha máquina travou de vez e não reinicia.

I bought a Revelator io44.
I noticed that the headset mic is strictly assigned to CH2 in iOS16. I use it for language learning, but most language-learning apps can not choose the input channel that uses CH1 as the default, and you can not change it. For example, ELSA speak.
Is there any possibility of assigning headset mic input to CH1 or route to CH1 and CH2 equally?

I am trying to output the audio from my 1824c into another device but neither the optical connection nor the s/pdif is sending a signal. When I open Universal Control there are no levels showing in the S/PDIF or any of the ADATs. I've gone into the Logic Audio Setting and selected "S/PDIF Out Left/Right" as the output but there still are no levels showing under S/PDIF in Universal Control. Levels show up only on DAW 1, 9 and 10.

When you connect earphones or headphones directly to the Levelator dynamic microphone, a high-frequency sound is heard. If there is no immediate solution, I would try using a 3-pole impedance plug. Please tell me how many ohms of a 3-pole impedance plug should I use to remove the high frequency sounds of a levelator dynamic microphone.

To use the Levelator dynamic microphone, you must purchase a 3-pole impedance plug separately. As a seller of Levelator dynamic microphones, please test the ohms value of the impedance plug and let me know right away. This is an issue that must be resolved as a presonus company.

Additionally, the impedance of the earphones and headphones I will connect to the microphone is 32 ohms. Please think about this and let me know.

I have connected my 1824 vsl to a mixer with the main output. I have not connected my 1824 vsl laptop with usb. Power button was red not blue. I have not got a signal output to the mixer. There was no signal at the headphone outputs, too!

Officially support audiobox usb96 on linux. It works already beautifully, but it's not officially supported

I works under bitwig. I got 2ms latency. So it works exceedingly well, no reason not to support officially.

Cant change Output in FL Studio with Presonus Studio 26C Interface

So i chose the Studio26c driver in FL studio for 1ms delay so no delay and wanted to record.

But it alway plays the over my studio monitors and i cant change the output to the line in studio headphones.

But when i use the asio driver i can choose freely between outputs, what am i doing wrong am i missing software or sum?

Hi ! My PC with asus motherboard crash on the screen "ASUS press del or F2 to enter setup mode" if my audio interface 1824 USB is powered on. I must put off the 1824 to continue the boot sequence. Sometimes, i must put off and on several times before the pc to continue the boot sequence.

The OS is windows 11. Universal control is up to date.

I changed the USB port but the problem is always here.

Note that i had before an intel NUC under windows 10. To boot correctly the 1824 usb must be powered off too.

Do you know this problem ? Can you help me to solve it ?

When I look at the spec sheet for the AudioBox iOne, I see the mic preamp's max input level is +10 dBu but nothing for the instrument input. What number is it? How can I find out?
