I have a client who has a studiolive series II 32 channel mixer
They want 10 channels of monitoring on stage with local control for each musician.
Solution1 would be to use iPhone + QMix-UC for control, multicore to stage, 10- channels of headphone amp on stage. Economical, but a bit inelegant.
Solution 2 would be wireless IEMs, but for 10 channels, they don't have the budget.
Solution 3 would be to use a product like the Allen & Heath ME-1. Really this would be the preferred solution. But the ME-1 doesn't speak AVB. I can't find a similar product that does AVB. There are various interface options available for the hub that goes with he ME-1, but none of them AVB, so would need an additional box to interface. Not ideal, and expensive.
Does anyone have any other ideas, or improvements on option 3?
