I did some searching in the forum and couldn't find anything on Lofi Beat production. I know a lot of producers use Ableton and Fruityloops for this and wanted Studio One to catch up in that regard. There are some work arounds and a lot of 3rd party plugins I have integrated. I think if Studio one came with some tape emulators, stock plugins that are geared around adding layers of warmth, Lofi/bit/ SP 404 type emulator/plugin to throw on stock drums. It would really make Studio One the go to Daw for any type of production.
With V4 there has been a lot of great strides towards hip hop and trap production with the patterns for drums, impact XT, chord track. A few more steps in that direction would go a really long way in my opinion. It still feels like Studio Ones bet applications are in Mixing already created projects and EDM production. Maybe I am the only one that feels this way, anyways shout out to all the hardworking people at Presonus for creating an awesome DAW.
