Question

I'm using an Avid Artist Mix series controller in Studio One 4 Pro in mackie control mode. It's working well except the values being displayed on the artist mix. The biggest issue is that the fader level is not shown on the display when the fader is being moved. Touching the fader makes the screen go blank until you release it, at which point the track name comes back up. The only way to display the fader level is to touch the pan pot on the artist mix.

Is there anyway to adjust this? I feel like I need some sort of mapping adjustment of controller parameters within Studio One, but maybe this can be done in some preference file somewhere?...

Good Morning.

I just migrated to Studio One. I have two Artist mixes and an Artist Control, I can't get it to work on Studio One 4.
Can you give me tips on how to do it?

I too have artist controllers 3 mixers and 1 control

Use the Mackie Control and the Mackie extensions

make sure each surface sends and returns to the same euphonics midi channel

Still can't bank or nudge and there are no meters on the artist next to the channel name

each controller need to be assigned to a different channels

make sure you have the latest EuControl software

and there are no menus I have made a couple on the buttons below the touchscreen

but hopefully Presonus will address this soon. I have a lot invested in these controllers

which are no longer supported by Avid ( Thanks )

I may have to sell them to some Blow Tools user they work perfectly with Blow Tools

The Softube console and faders maybe the answer They are listed in the control surface menu.in Studio One 5

Wish presonus would address the Berhinger x-touch controllers but they are not in the menu

Good Luck it may take a few reboots on computer and Avid surfaces but at least you have fader pan and transport control

better than mouseing around. it took me a couple of days to get it all to work and Eucontrol must boot or nothing will work

You can also reboot the Eucontrol software on the all software page of windows 10 tile page.sometimes this works.
