New tracks initialized to 0dB is a bad habit universal across DAWs. It's asking for trouble. Let Studio One be the first to address it:
Please add 2 preferences for New Tracks - one for Audio, one for Instruments - to have them start at-10dB. Or even better - setting it yourself.
