Hi.

I have just set up my external delay box, routed using my Studio 1810 interface. I am sure the routing is correct. I am simply sending audio out of Output 6 to the delay box and returning into one of my mic/ins/line inputs.

The problem is that as soon as I engage my external delay box, it is effecting ALL audio that is currently playing in studio one. Even with the gain knob of the return Input turned right down, all audio is running through the delay box and coming in via the relevant input!

Even if I use Pipeline on the specific channel that requires the delay effect, still all audio is effected by the dela.

I am fairly sure the Audio I/O section is set up correctly as well.

No doubt I am missing something very simple here but any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi.  If I were trying to troubleshoot this for myself I would "reset" the universal control, not touch anything on it, and see what happens. If you can monitor your mix without weirdness then you might have moved a uc fader and that is bringing signal to the monitors/outputs. Just a guess. Good luck!  -Ed
