Question

I make a song, hear it in Studio One and then want to export as stereo.

If I try Song -> Export Mixdown -> wav, a wav-file is created but if I playback this in VLC it has the right length but no sound!

(on the computer I make the mix, there is no recording device, only speakers and Studio one shows me on startup that no recording is possible ).

when you do an export mixdown there is an option "use realtime processing" try that. not all vst instrumenst support non-realtime exports.
