What does the musician receive in the Earmix when you assign in the Digital Patching one AVB SENDS as a “channel” instead of a mix; a Pre, Pre 1, Pre 2, Post or just the raw Pre Gain fat channel signal flow?

Equipment: StudioLive 64, two Earmix 16

I want my drummer to have his drums separated in his EarMix 16 (Kick on ch 1, Snare on ch 2, etc..) so can the other Earmix can have a different setup; but I also want to give him a polished sound with EQ, Compression, Gate, etc from the mixer. How do I do that?

By default the musician would receive a "raw" signal (post gain), but you can change "Digital Send Options" of each channel to "Post" to include the Fat Channel processing.

The EarMixers "listen" to two banks of AVB signals. By default this would be AVB 1-8 and 9-16, but you can select any bank in any order. If EarMix 1 listens to AVB streams 1-8 (drums) and 57-64 (choir or whatever...), the EarMix 2 can listen to AVB streams 17-24 (guitars...) and 41-48 (vocals...).

You will need to plan routing very carefully, because the 64 channel mixers have a conflict between the AVB streams of input channels and flex mixes.
