Hello,

I am a choir director & I make the vocal tracks for my choruses so they can practice their parts. I am a Barytone therefore I can do the Tenor & Bass part no problem but when it comes to the Altos & Sopranos, then I use either my "head voice" or just record it 1 octave lower & tell the Altos & Sopranos that they have to sing 1 octave higher. I would like to be able to have the proper octave so when they practice they can hear the exact tone/pitch & the "complete mix" of all the voices would sound more like what the real song should sound like & not as if it was an all male choir. :)

I tried in Melodyne to change the notes 1 octave higher but unfortunately it sounds like a chipmunk.

If someone could guide me with either features that studio one has or Melodyne or even if there is a plug-in that I could get to add to Studio One so I could do everything in Studio One. I use Studio One 3.5.6.46910.

if I was not clear enough please do not hesitate to ask questions.

Thanks in advance for your time on this matter & have a great day :)
