I’ll do most work on my Mac mini desktop. I’d like a portable option to continue work when away from home. I’m creating drum tracks to accompany live performances. I do not expect I’ll use a lot of virtual instruments. My first thought is a MacBook Air adding ram to get 16 gb. This would keep cost down as long as the processing speed is adequate. If anyone can weigh in on this approach I’ll appreciate it.
