SOLVED: In Universal Control software (legacy version: 1.7.6). Opened to Setup tab. Under Flexible Inputs Router: selected Marin Mix L/R. DAW is now recording and playing back!!

Hi,

Just got a Studiolive 1602 Firewire mixer and connected it to my Windows 10 (latest version) computer.

The Universal Control software (latest version v219) and my DAW (Cakewalk by Bandlab - latest version) both recognize the mixer.

In the DAW, channels properly point out to Master and Master points to Presonus Audio Outs.

Sample rates on both the Universal Control and DAW are set to the same value: 44.1 kHz. Driver mode in the DAW wet to ASIO (tried WASAPI, no luck).

There are no audio output issue when I use the mixer to simply route my instruments/mics to my studio monitors.

DAW plays back properly a VST instrument track recorded using my MIDI keyboard connected thru the mixer.

Problem is that the DAW doesn't record audio from a microphone plugged in the mixer.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Matt
