I often use punch and roll for narration, and frequently there is a change in the volume and sometimes tonality for the punched in recordings. I'm pretty careful to speak at the same volume and hold the same mic position when punching in, so I'm not sure what's going on. When this occurs I have to then tweak the volume level for those parts I punched in.
Has anyone else experienced this or knows what's going on?
