Can you extend and shorten midi notes to current selected grid value?

Is it possible to select a midi note, extend and/or shorten it to current selected grid value? I have a shortcut that quantise the start and length to make it an 8-note, 16-note and so forth and would like the option to just set the grid value and with a shortcut snap the length to it.

It's only possible for Events. The command is "Extend by Grid" / "Shorten by Grid".
