Studio 1 v5 and v5.1 freezing while strip silencing drums tracks. Crashes every 20 to 30 minites.

I have 6 drum track open on session i strip silence kick or snare track. Freezes within 20 minutes. I had my laptop checked in. The factory its not the laptop. Its a an acer helios predator 500 16 gb ram i7.  Inteface is apollo qaud mkii thunderbolt.
