Question

I have had songs say there's a new version the older file cannot be loaded and when I try to load the new version it does not load.  I've lost several songs and have had to redo them completely.

Yes they should. You can have both installed at the same time too. Just be aware, if you save any changes in Studio One 5 Pro you won't be able to open that save in any pervious version, so save to new filename or back up the .song files in advance.
