How do I setup multiple stereo instruments with Kontakt

Hi

I am using Presonus Studio One 5 with Kontakt 12.

I have loaded 7 instruments into the Kontakt Rack, each have their own MIDI channel, 1-7. I have created a Kontakt Stereo Out for each instrument and they all show up fine in the Outputs panel in Kontakt.

The issue I am having is then assigning them to channels in my Studio One console (Mixer). When I click on the channel number in the Outputs view of Kontakt to select the physical outs, all I see is a long list of KTUnassigned [n] options which are all mono channels. So I am having to select 2 mono channels for each instrument which gives me 2 mono faders in the Studio One mixer.

How do I make all my stereo instruments, which are set to stereo outputs, provide me with stereo physical outs rather than 2 mono outs, which is real messy.

Jeez this is such a time-suck, it really shouldnt be this hard.

And yes I have read dozens of docs and watched dozens of YouTube videos.

Cant find anything that solves this.

Many thanks

Mark

In Kontakt, just below and to the right of the wrench on each synth click on "output". Choose "Create Separate Master Output Channel." Do This for every synth.  Now near the top of the plugin it says "Kontakt" and to the right is 3 icons - save, settings- panels. Click on the panels icon and make sure that output is checked. At the top of the Output Pane click on "Outputs/Batch Configuration" select "Batch Function" > "Clear Output Selection and Create One Individual for Each Loaded Instrument." It will ask to verify click yes.

In Studio One, next to the mixer expand the the instrument panel, click on "Inst." on the left side. Expand the instance of Kontakt your instruments are in. It should show the synths in the list but they are not really labelled well. When I did this I got, "Kt. st 1 -> Cello" and all the other synths are "Kt. aux 1 -> Kt. aux 1", "Kt. aux 2 -> Kt. aux 2", etc. Check the box next to them and they appear as stereo channels in the mixer. I hope that helps.
