"File is broken or can't be opened"

Permanently deleted then recovered some songs using Recoverit app. When I try to open either the .song or .wav files I get error message  "File is broken or can't be opened". The recovered songs have .song, media,history,cache,  & bounces folders. They look good but I'm unable to open anything. Does anyone know of a way to fix the broken files?
