Question

Is it possible in Studio One to play through a track at an increased speed, listen for mistakes and do the edits?  Would really help me in editing hour long podcasts.

I tried increasing the tempo but after I made the edits and brought back the track to the earlier tempo, the edits were inconsistent with a lot of gaps in between.

Would save me a lot of time if this feature is available!

Not that I know of.  It's a nice feature of Premier Pro.

Open the inspector and set Tempo to "timestretch" for the channel in question; you probably have it set to "follow". Setting it to "Timestretch" will eliminate the gaps.
