cannot hear music when recording through the mic and using computer for music

home built system, AMD phenom IIx6 black edition, 1100t processor, 16Gb DDR3 memory, AMD video card, R290 w/8 Gb onboard mem

cannot hear music very well when recording with mic and using computer for music, any help ?

You need to disable exclusive mode:
