Question

I am using the Studio Live 32R direction with my Studio One 5 Pro software. I am having difficulty with the setup working properly every time i turn it off and come back to a project. One of the things that i have noticed in that Interface Mode always says that it is unavailable. I have used other interfaces and believe that this would be an easier mode. I was also told that I could use this device as an interface which is the main reason that I purchased it.

Is the availability of interface mode a connection issue or is it actually unavailable for the device purchased? If it is a connection issue please help. I am running the Studio Live 32R directly to my computer.

If you're getting an error when you go to setup Interface Mode you might want to setup a support ticket.

Otherwise, Interface Mode just makes changes to your mixer routing, you'll still need to assign routing in Studio One.

Hi,

Did you ever resolve this issue, as I'm having the same problem. Interface Mode is enabled, and shows as enabled on the Mixer, and in Universal Control, but when you move over to the USB Patcing in UC, it states that Interface mode is not available....

Quietly driving me nuts.....

I had the same problem "Interface Mode Not Currently Available" on my 16R. This appeared when I tried to view the monitor mix. I fixed it by going to Settings...Digital Patching...Input Source and making sure that all Aux channels were set for Analog source (for some reason they had gotten set to USB). Once I changed back to Analog everything worked.
