Enable autofades when splitting/inserting audio clip by default

Can we have a feature to enable automatic fades when splitting audio clip or just inserting into a project? Ive got so fed up with that I need to shift+x every audio clip i use in project.

Yeah a checkbox to have this would save a lot of time while doing intensive audio editing
