Dorico now does this but they don't allow for selected notes (or spot) start time randomization. Both timbre (by CC1 or velocity stepping) AND spot randomization is necessary for realism with orchestral instruments. Dorico presently just allows for global randomization and that is not helpful when some passages sound better without it. We need a DAW that does these two functions using "useful" notation - (not e.g., tuplets that fall apart with randomizing like S1 fails in.)
