Bug: Send to Sample One gives no MIDI event

I like to use already existing drum/percussion loops in my songs. To be able to "make them my own" and to adapt them to the song, however, I need to be able to vary them and rearrange them. There is a very convenient way to do this in Studio One, or rather should be but it is buggy. It should be possible to slice, the loop, send it to Sample One, and get an accompanying MIDI event that plays the original loop via Sample One. For those who know Ableton, this is Studio Ones version of "Slice to new midi track".

If I detect transients in the arrange window, make slices from this detection, select all slices, and "Send To new SampleOne" I get the different slices on different keys in SampleOne, but I don't get any accompanying MIDI event on the SampleOne track that plays the original loop. This limits the usefulness of this function.

We don't have a bug reporting system for Studio One here.

I would suggest that this be posted instead to the Studio One Community Support area of the forum

The developers monitor that area for bug reports.
