Could someone please explain the new direct input, where is it, how does it work, does it really solve the problem with putting midi vst like kirnu directly in front of a vst instrument like it is so easyily done in mulab, tracktion etc. ?

Why nothing could be found about it in the user manual ?

Direct inputs are a way to have an input assigned to an instrument which could be handy for some circumstances, not having to use a monitored track to play an instrument.  It's located on the instrument UI in the image below...
