Running 3.3.0.2.44089 on Mac.. See Vimeo video 197577758 for reference. This is simple problem. Annoying! If I have a VI that naturally receives EXP CC11, and I have the Presence VI that does NOT naturally receive EXPCC11, I have to create the "control" knob on my external keyboard and map it to the PRESENCE global volume knob just to swell the sound.  ONCE I do that, my expression pedal on my keyboard is NO longer available on any VI EXCEPT Presence. If I UNASSOCIATE the control knob to Presence VI's global volume knob, I STILL cannot use my expression pedal on another virtual instrument. I literally MUST delete the Control knob on the external device JUST to use expression pedal on my keyboard on my other VI's. BIG Issue. I'm a composer, I need expression on multiple VIs.  GO to VIMEO video 197577758 to see what I mean. That may be easier for you.  Please fix two problems 1> let Presence VI naturally receive and respond to Expression 11.  2> when I UN-Associate a MIDI CC to a VI knob/button, free it up to use on other VI's.

Presence, by design has no default assignments like that.  When you need to create that CC11 for Presence volume, create a Control Link from your keyboard using a MIDI channel you will use only for that assignment. Like MIDI Channel 2.

Then assign that specific channeled control to the Presence volume knob. When you switch the keyboard to MIDI channel 2, it will only control that parameter.

Switch the keys to MIDI channel 1 when you need to go back to default.
