Question

Everytime I mixdown to mp3 the sound is diminished. I play it back outside of StudioOne and even with my volume turned all the way up I can barely hear the mixdown. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

If you are referring to perceived loudness, it's relative in a way.   There are various links on the Internet that will tell you how to increase the perceptual loudness of your mixes without damaging the audio quality too much, or at all.   I'll include a few random examples below.
