Question

I have studio one artist when i duplicate my track especially my vocal it sounds like a harmony or something different from the original track, Another problem is that when I use melodyne on the original track and i want to create harmony by duplicating the original track, the changes in the melodyne to the duplicate will reflect in the melodyne on the original track. Any idea to solve this problems is highly appreciated.

Were these two tracks grouped together? Any plugins inserted? Are they routed to the same outputs?
