OS X Yosemite - version 10.10.5 (14F27) - Mac mini (Late 2012) - 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7

This is actually for our church computer...I'm not sure our tech staff members, namely Gary Ford, have a Login to Support.

Having serious problems with the Finder on a Mac Mini. Looks like Personus dev team has messed with the Finder, because it shows only Presonus stuff, much of it for Studio One, even tho' its categorized under 'All My Files'. IOW, it does NOT show 'All My Files' properly. The only way I've found to open the 'real' Finder window is to initiate a search from another application, such as 'Show in Finder' from iTunes. Also, it appears to be mixing up files between the original Presonus Capture and Capture 2. Also, when trying to rename files, it shows the Capture file in Studio One instead of the Capture application. All this is very confusing and difficult to deal with when trying to re-locate the files in playlists in iTunes. IMO this must come from developers messing around with the Finder on the Mac. Every Mac owner of any duration (I've been using Macs since 1987) knows this is totally against Apple HIGs (Human Interface Guidelines). The one thing programmers must understand is that you don't screw around with the Finder, which is closely connected to the underlying UNIX base code.

Having said that (sorry if it offends anyone), how can I straighten this out so that we can easily change filenames and relocate the files where we want them in our own playlists and folders in iTunes? Thanks so much.

In Capture, under "file" select "save session file as" and rename. That will do it.
