A way to bypass fade snapping?

As far as I can tell, there is no way to override the fade snapping function. There seems to be a "no man's land" between linear and logarithmic, and I would like to be able to shape the fade somewhere between those (or between linear and exponential).

Totally agree. Just found this post by looking up if there was a way. It's weird there is an area where you can get the curve to go to - as you said "no mans land".

Please fix this!
