Currently it's a window which has to be draw over other elements.

Would be nicer if I could dock it to the transport, or dock it to the main top window to always show current and next chord

Yes would be very helpful for keeping windows organized. The chords are displayed in the transport bar in logic. Would be cool if S1 also had this.

Yes, even if you could use it as a plug in and expand it in the mixer like the tuner.
