Question

Have followed your instructions on your web site, on activating Melodyne,'' I get the following message:

Due to a system error, the activation has failed.  Please try again.  If the activation fails again, please contact Celomy support.  I have tried to contact Celomy for over a week now with no replies.  So can you help?

No answer just bumping because I have the same problem. Get message "My serial number has been successfully registered...then  "Due to a system error, the activation has failed"  Celemony, after many days no replies.

Login in to the Celemony Website and generate your upgraded download by clicking upgrade.
Once you paste your 2.1 Activation code, and select free upgrade, their server will generate the 4.1 download specifically for you.

Download and install that specific version, it will come with the licence inside the download folder. Once you install it, run it from the desktop. You do that by searching Melodyne in your search and click it, then click activate. it will open a page in Explorer which will ask you to activate and voila, it will be activated.

Just experienced this bizarre problem myself.

Apparently, when you buy Studio One v4 Professional, you get a download link for Melodyne 4, but a serial number for version 1.
So first I had to uninstall Melodyne 4 that came with Studio One, then at the Celemony website, enter my v1 serial number (from my Presonus account under "Get content"). This allowed my to upgrade my v1 license to v2. Then I did the same a second time to upgrade my v2 serial to v4. Then I was able to download the customized installer with "baked in" registration for version 4.
