Hi all.  I'm new to Studio One but I'm not sure that's the issue.  In some cases, I am able to put in midi tracks and then assign instruments to them and they work, and in other cases, either the track only plays back a few notes of that track or not at all.  More confusing is that sometimes it works fine and then a second later, it stops while other tracks keep going.  It's not just one midi track, by the way.  I've copied, deleted , replaced, etc. and still same issue.  I'm wondering if it is a processor weakness.  Have a iMAC 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5.

Thoughts?

It may be RAM if it's low or it may be the processor overloading, it's hard to know.   Try refreshing you application settings as outlined below and if that doesn't help and the problem keeps showing up, make a support ticket.

1.  Go to Help>Open Settings folder.

2.  Copy the contents of the folder over to a folder on your desktop.

3.  Close S1 and delete the contents of the settings folder with the exception of the user.license file as well as the "Extensions" folder.

4.  Open S1 and go to Studio One>Options (Preferences on a Mac) to reconfigure your settings.

5.  Test to see if the problem is resolved.  If it is not, please feel free to copy your settings files back over from the backup that you created in step 2.

*If you are missing presets or Sound Sets after doing this, simply double-click one of your Sound Sets under Documents>Studio One>Sound Sets.
