Studio One Remote on Android v9, Moto G7 Power will not scan; clicking scan does nothing.

Studio One Remote on Android v9, Moto G7 Power will not scan; clicking scan does nothing.  The demo runs,  the help is there and  the phone is on WiFi.  The Mac laptop with Studio One running is on the same Wifi.
